Advisory: Bell pepper infestation

It has come to our attention that Bell and Mini Peppers have been experiencing a high level of infestation. This has been confirmed by the OK Kosher and Other kashrus agencies. The infestation is mainly concentrated around the stem/crown area on top and has affected peppers of all colors and origins.

To ensure your safety, we strongly recommend that you remove and discard the affected section of the pepper. Afterward, you should rinse and rub the remaining section under running water. Pay close attention to any crevices to ensure that no infestation remains.

We recommend that you take the following steps to properly clean your bell peppers: First, remove and discard the stem. Then, rinse and rub the remaining part of the pepper under running water, making sure to pay special attention to any crevices. This will ensure that your peppers are safe and kosher for consumption.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as necessary. Thank you for your cooperation.
