Epic Bites is a chef-owned and driven company. We were founded simply on the notion that Northern California has access to the best ingredients in the world, and we saw no reason why the Bay Area Jewish community couldn’t enjoy that bounty. We even have a forager on staff who is an expert in local edible plants and mushrooms.

Our number one policy is to “make everything yummy,” no matter, if it’s a simple egg salad or 48-hour sous, vide lamb loin. It all gets the same rigorous quality control. Making it yummy also means that it has to be beautiful; we eat with our eyes just as much as with our palates.

While we seem to have a singular focus on food, we feel that service is just as important. We search for the best talent out there. We require our staff to be highly experienced and genuinely happy folks. We feel that service and food are just as important. This doesn’t just mean the day of event service. This means we strive to answer emails and phone calls right away and give you recommendations even though you may not even hire us to cater to your event.

We cater such a wide variety of events that we can’t say which we enjoy most, weddings for 400, intimate wine pairing dinners, corporate retreats, bar mitzvahs, bris, Shabbat kiddush, fundraiser gala’s, etc.
